Blacked out

Tom was talking to Victoria the woman who pretendEd she was his mom hugged him and said this is for your own good and said a poem which made him black out. I wonder why he blacked out and since she worked to kavanagh if that is some command or something that makes him turn into Tyler or something.

    His mom said she was sorry for doing that but it was for the best. So I think she feels bad but his dad definitely doesn't because he tried to kill tom but i'm pretty sure his mom does.
